Director

Greetings one and all!  I hope your year is full of health and happiness and an abundance of fun!  For this is the day/week/month/year that the Lord has made!  Let’s rejoice and be glad in it!

So, I’m sure you’re saying to yourself, “Self, I wonder what’s been going on with Camp Luther since last June.”  Glad you asked!  Since we were last together your deans and I have met and discussed what went right, wrong, as planned, not as planned, etc. during Camp Luther 2011 and what can we do to improve in 2012.  I put together an evaluation that went to the staff that incorporated many of the campers, staff and parents comments and we’re going to use that as a blueprint to try and make Camp Luther 2012 the best ever!

You’re probably sitting there saying “Great—-but when is Camp Luther this year?”  Well, mark your calendar for 17 – 23 June.  “Where is it?”  Camp Caesar, Cowen, WV.  “How much is it?” $194. “What’s the airspeed on a coconut-laden swallow?”   Depends on if it’s an English or African swallow (that last question was primarily for Monty Python fans).  “And what’s this year’s theme?”

Well, this year the theme for camp is (drumroll please):

Spiritlife!  “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.” Ephesians 4:4-6
